GC Training Day at Griffen Dental Laboratory
15 January 2014
On 8 January GC held an on-site training course at Griffen Dental Laboratory, our Terec member located in Byfleet. The objective of the one-day course was to train Director/technician Graham Eke and technician Antony Atkins in the techniques required for the Initial Ceramic System, GC’s state-of-the-art system consisting of six ceramics in one integrated product and colour line, which can create metal-ceramic through to full-ceramic restorations. Delivered by GC technician Mark Bladen, the day included using special techniques to build up a posterior and an anterior crown and the results were very pleasing. Graham and Antony can claim CPD points for the course and the techniques they learnt will further enhance and improve the quality of their work.
